I was going to write a big essay supporting this proposition, but in the process of googling for the relevant quotes I found that somebody already wrote more or less the essay I wanted to write.
I _hate_ it when that happens!
Indeed. The worst part is that the article is old enough and the idea has been in the back of my head for long enough that I can’t be sure that I didn’t get the idea from the article and then forget about it.
