A recent graduate of Mills College in Oakland, California, I enjoy the finer things in life, including: my own bed to sleep in, a great book, a good book, dogs, a mediocre book, law, public policy, being employed, going to cafes, technology, and bathing on a regular basis. I do not like: car accidents, uncomfortable shoes, misogyny, and most green teas.
Following my graduation, I am doing a very good impression of a “bum”, but working very hard at it. I had a brief two months of success, where I was employed by the Barack Obama campaign, but I am again on the job search. In the meantime, I have traveled to new and interesting places like New York City, Boston, Washington D.C., Mount Pleasant, and Chicago. (Mount Pleasant is everything it sounds like, but without a Mount and it’s Pleasant as long as it doesn’t snow in rural Michigan).
